2.  Satire vs. Legitimate News Story



What is the main idea of these two stories?
How do these two stories present the information differently?
What satirical techniques are used in the Onion article?

3.  Satire Compilation

In small groups you will work together to create a presentation on one of the literary techniques used in satires. 

You will either be assigned irony, sarcasm, humor, and exaggeration.

For each technique you must include a definition, five examples, and explanations for how the technique is used.
You may include examples of news articles, videos, pictures, movies, etc.

Your examples should relate to any food related issue.
(World hunger, food waste, quality, over consumption, etc.)

You will present these to the class.
