RL.11-12.6 Analyze a case in which grasping perspective requires distinguishing what is directly stated in a text from what is really meant.

In small groups, you will discuss the reading from yesterday.
Begin by individually sharing one example of satire from your chart.
State the quote and the implied meaning.
Then, select the quote from your table that you believe is the most effective to share with the entire class.
Together, answer the three questions that are on the second page of the Understanding Satire doc.


Read through the document to prepare for the Socratic Seminar on Friday.
